3 Article Marketing Strategies That Pull Subscribers In Like A Magnet Posted By : L.R. Hand

If you want to create fresh targeted leads to build your list, then you must be taking advantage of article marketing. That is why so many people investigate for Article Marketing Strategies. The largest hindrance you face is making your article worthy of reading and fascinating enough to make your audience want to answer yes to your proposal.

Keep in mind, in article marketing you want to put the reader first. Consider their desires and how you can support that need. You will give good solutions when you blend your own understanding with the information regarding the area of interest and inject your own unique personality into the article.

Seeing as getting to yes is the objective, these THREE article marketing strategies are what you should apply.

Strategy 1) Keep your reader’s interest

Having a plan about the subjects you want to discuss and which questions you can answer is key to getting going. Essentially, your audience wants to be given the information they are looking for in a fashion that will maintain their attention and perhaps even be a little entertaining.

One essential Article Marketing Strategy is to show a problem your reader perhaps is having and then offer them the solution in detail. (Example: How can I increase my blog ranking?) Value, value, value. That’s the name of the game. You should provide your readers as much value as possible. This is where you begin to cultivate a sense of trust with your reader. The information you need to present is tips and tricks, strategies and working examples. Commonly asked questions and obvious problems are the areas you want to put your writing efforts into.

Also, make sure you are buoyant and positive throughout the article from start to finish. Don’t put people to sleep with a boring article. When you offer your readers and subscribers with entertaining but very informative articles, they will anticipate your forthcoming posts.

Strategy 2) Consider the Content and Your Article Flow

You want to open with a great attention-grabbing title. A good title will catch your reader’s interest and make them want to take the time to read your article. Focus on a fantastic title that will make your reader want to scroll down and read your content. Make sure you explore and think hard on your title because this is your introduction to your reader. They ought to feel like you are speaking straight to them with your title.

Subsequently we go to the article body. Here is where your article needs to knock their socks off with your information. After all you’ve already lured them in with your title, you want to keep them reading because of your content. Your article body is where you offer your audience more value than they bargained for with detailed examples, strategies and tips. Now this is where you start to produce a sense of trust and respect with your audience since you’re educating them. This is also where you begin to brand yourself as an authority in your field. This will start to draw others to your articles and in time more sales for you.

Beyond any doubt, the resource box is regularly the most overlooked part of your article. Exactly underneath your article is your resource box. Depending on the article directory, your resource box ought to end up being just about five or six sentences in length.

A resource box needs to have 2 elements

:

To start with include your name and a little bit of information about yourself. Keep it truthful and sincere in your explanation. You should talk about one of your endeavors in just a sentence. Don’t go overboard, merely let the reader realize that they’re learning from a credible person.

Second, include your website address or your blog address. You’re in essence welcoming your reader to find out more about you, your business and possibly you might even capture the reader’s e-mail address and start to build some trust and a rapport with this person.

Strategy 3) Call to action

The last of the Article Marketing Strategies that I need to impart to you is the need to have a call to action for your reader. You’d be lax if you didn’t add in some sort of call to action to your reader regardless if you are attempting to be persuasive in your article. Your call to action should be a understated directive for your reader to take action.

    Check out this examples

:

“If you want to know how I market with my own branded sales funnel, click here to get your own funnel!”

“If you subscribe to my blog, you’ll be able to get a hold of all my latest training, tips and secret strategies.”

“Tell me what you think about this post. Leave me a comment below.”

“Want to discover more Article Marketing Tips, get my Free Ebook here.”

“Please let others know how much you liked this post. Like it on Facebook, Bookmark it and Tweet It!”

That’s it. 3 article marketing strategies that will start your journey of creating articles that will create tons of traffic. Keep in mind, you want to offer your readers more value than they’d expect to get. When you do this, you’ll not only capture the respect of your readers, but you’ll begin to build up a loyal readership, buyers and people willing to associate themselves with you and they will be willing to syndicate your content all over the Internet!

Article Marketing Strategies To Utilize To Increase Targeted Traffic Posted By : Karen Winton

Writing web content articles and then submitting those articles to several writing directories or article websites can really help increase targeted traffic. To make certain that the articles you come up with become effective in building traffic, you should apply some content writing tips as well as some article marketing strategies. Here are several you should employ:

1. Create articles that are compelling, unique, and informative.

The articles you write should contain these characteristics: interesting, helpful, and unique. If your writings do not meet these requirements, it will be hard for you to entice readers to read your works from top to bottom. What’s the use of web content articles if people do not finish reading them, or if they just glance for a few seconds at those pieces and then transfer their attention to other articles?

To increase targeted traffic, your articles should be completely read and should attract a lot of readers to click on the links you placed on those articles. Writing unique, informative, and compelling articles is therefore included in the list of content writing tips that you should follow.

2. Become an expert on your niche.

Having good knowledge about your niche or line of business is also one of the article marketing strategies that you should make use of. If you don’t know much about your product or service, your niche, or your business, how can you expect to come up with high quality web content articles? You should do a thorough research on your selected niche before you start writing articles. There are so many published articles online, e-books, tutorials, etc, that you can consult to gain expertise on any niche.

3. Learn about proper keyword researching.

Keywords are also one of the most important tools if you wish to increase targeted traffic in your site. Included in content writing tips, therefore, is for you to include some relevant keywords in your articles – keywords that are connected to your actual line of business, niche, or products and services. Keyword research is part of article marketing strategies you should not forget. Try using one of the best tools: Google Keyword Research tool, where you can type in a relevant word or phrase, and then, see similar phrases or keywords and their actual search volumes. Your web content articles should have from 2 up to 4 keywords that are niche related and have a high amount of volume for those articles to be easily found over the web.

Other tips and tricks you should utilize in order to increase targeted traffic include: creating attractive titles, making sure that the articles are made up of short or small paragraphs, and so on. Try using these article marketing strategies and notice how your site’s traffic is improved significantly.

Your Guide to Creating Effective Article Marketing Titles Posted By : Keegan Luinstra

To be truly effective at article marketing, you will need to inspire web browsers to click and view YOUR content instead of checking out the other guys’ stuff. One of the best ways to do this is to have an attention-grabbing headline. With a good headline, you will set yourself apart from your nine other competitors. I learned many of these following phrases from Robert Bly’s “How to Write and Sell Simple Information For Fun and Profit”. Here is a list of my top twenty-one phrases. You simply need to place your keyword-phrase into the quotation marks for a great title! I provide examples.

Coming up with a good title before you begin the writing process can help you accomplish this by helping you stay focused.

Quick and Easy Article Marketing Tips Posted By : Keegan Luinstra

I found it frustrating when I first started article marketing. It seemed like my content was never read! After feeling crappy about this for a brief time, I decided to learn some article marketing tips to improve both my writing and promotions. Follow these tips and you will start seeing some results.

ARTICLE MARKETING TIPS ON WRITING:

1. Provide Value: You can promote your article all you want, but unless it has some solid information, no one is going to want to read it. Make sure you are providing value.

2. Keep It Short and Break Them Up: Make your article short and easy to read. People browsing the internet for information do not want to read a book. I usually shoot for 450-600 words.

Keep your sentences and paragraphs short as well. Add bold font and italics to spice up your content. This also allows readers to skip to the section of the article that interests them most.

3. Keywords: If you want your article to rank in the search engines, you’ll need to do some keyword research. It’s about finding a key-phrase that gets searched for often, but does not have too much competition. Market Samurai and Google’s keyword tool are two free resources which can help you find your article’s needed phrases.

It’s important to note that once you find a suitable phrase, you should include it in the content’s title and in the body approximately every hundred words. (My key-phrase for this article is “article marketing tips”).

4. An Exciting Headline and Summary: I know I’m not the only one who has skipped over content because the title didn’t grab my attention. Give your article title the love it deserves! I like brainstorming a headline and summary before I write the article body. This keeps me focused on what I want to accomplish in writing the article; it also eliminates any potential last-minute laziness.

5. Killer Resource Box: Instead of putting a bio here, put a course of action for your readers. Instead, tell the reader what to do next. This may be to try a product, sign up for your bootcamp, or sign up for addtional training. Make sure the call to action is RELEVANT to the infromation in your article.

ARTICLE MARKETING TIPS ON PROMOTION:

1. Blog: I don’t believe there is a better long-term strategy for your business than a blog. It’s a fantastic place to put all of your content. Having the freedom to add banners, videos, opt-in forms, graphics, etc. help make it a very useful lead generation tool. A blog is a great way to brand yourself, will show visitors that you are an expert in your niche, and are the darling of search engines. They generally rank very well because they are updated often and contain a collection of keywords from all your content.

2. Use OnlyWire: Onlywire.com is a cool syndication service that will automatically send out your article to all the hot social bookmarking sites including twitter, digg, del.icio.us, and many others.

3. Facebook Groups: Facebook is a great place to meet other people in your niche. Since they are in the same industry, they may be interested in some of your informational content. You can join multiple groups in your niche, (e.g. network marketing groups) and post your content on the wall so multiple people in that group can view it.

4. Emails: Reuse your content again by sending it out to your Email list.

5. Join A Tribe: Get maximum exposure to your article by becoming a tribemember. A tribe is a place where members help syndicate each others content. Some top tribes include The Unified Tribe, TSA Mastery, and Tribe Pro.

Article Maketing Tips

John Rhodes, who has published over 100 Amazon books and created over 100 Internet products, uses a deliberate systems approach to article marketing. He believes that if you aren’t using article marketing then you are throwing away money. Many niche markets exist that could be generating targeted traffic to your offers and are providing buyers exactly what they are seeking. Buying traffic is expensive and keeps going up, wheras the cost of article marketing is in decline. Many who have tried article marketing drop out early, not giving themselves adequate chance to succeed.

Misconceptions about the strength of article marketing abound, some basing their opinions on what they may have heard about Google’s intent. This couldn’t be further from the truth, despite Google’s recent Farmer Update. The secret is that articles are a special kind of content and that getting easy traffic is only a matter of setting up your articles in exactly the right way and with the right focus. John Rhodes is living proof, having generated over 20,000 clicks from his online content.

Articles are nothing more than a “simple kind of content” put in a specific way. The content is ultra “simple” and “boring” but despite this, can be used to create a flood of traffic. Missing the overall article framework for an article is a common mistake, as well as having less than effective bio box.. The bio box creates valuable back-links to your content and needs to instruct what to do vs. actually furnishing specifics about the author.

Your articles are your personal, indestructible online “zombies” that can’t be killed . If done corectly, or even just adequately, they never stop pulling traffic. Articles should be positioned right before action decisions, e.g., doing research about a particular product or service (think Amazon affiliate) or finding useful information online (squeeze page). People, in most cases, do Internet research just prior to purchasing products. Here are John’s reader grease tips:

* Use bullets (or * if not permitted)

* Use numbered lists

* Use blocks of content with subheaders

* Use a mix of short and long paragraph

* Use keyword in 1st 50 words

* Use keyword in last 50 words

One of John’s best recommendations in his training sessions is to include links to your strongest Ezine Articles, to “make the strong stronger.” In some article directories, these links can be in the body of the article, but usually not in the first 50 words. On the live webinar, one participant remarked she’d actually noticed how certain celebrities’ articles are all interlinked, e.g., Oprah!

What are some of the reasons that is article marketing valuable? First, it is an extremely low cost strategy. Besides, you can use simple systems to get the writing and submissions done quickly, e.g., outsourcing. Finally, readers get to know you and a sense of your personality through your style and you can exert control over their behavior using the bio box.

Link Popularity – Your Key to a Page #1 Listing

Link Popularity – Your Key to a Page #1 Listing
by Michael Southon

Last week I was doing a search in Google under ‘ezine advertising’ and was amazed to find one of my own websites on the first page of results (position #4 out of 271,000).

So then I went to Yahoo and got another shock – there it was again at position #4 out of 274,000 results.

If you’re wondering how I did it, the answer is I’m not entirely sure.

But my guess is *link popularity*.

What is link popularity?

Some years ago the major search engines realized that the best way to decide if your website has valuable content (and is therefore worth a high ranking) is to see how many other websites link to your site.

Link popularity was pioneered by Google but has now become a key factor in the algorithms used by most of the major search engines.

Would you like to know your current link popularity?

Here’s a free tool that will check your link popularity in Alltheweb, AltaVista, AOL, Google, HotBot and MSN. This tool will also compare your link  popularity with your competitors': http://www.marketleap.com/

Now that you know your link popularity, you may be wondering how you can increase it.

Here are some commonly used strategies – some effective and some not:

==> FFA Sites

Free For All sites are websites that collect your email address (and send you a lot of junk email) and in return allow you to post a link on a website.

FFA sites are rather like a conveyor belt – new links are constantly being added and old links being pushed off. On Many FFA sites your link will last an hour or two at the most.

Even if your link stayed on an FFA site long enough to be indexed by a search engine, it is unlikely it would increase your link popularity. Search engines regard FFA sites as spam and they’ll either ignore your link or penalize your site.

==> Link Exchange Programs

As with FFA sites, you need to ask yourself the same question the search engines ask.

Did someone link to your site because you have valuable content? Or did they link to your site as part of a mutual ploy to artificially raise each other’s link popularity?

The search engines know how to tell the difference and some of them (Google for example) will actually ban your site for engaging in ‘link farming’.

Another problem with this method is *link relevancy*. If the sites linking to you have content that is not related to your content, the search engines will not give much weight to those links.

==> Reciprocal Links with Individual Webmasters

This will definitely increase your link popularity, especially if you seek out link partners whose websites share the same theme as yours.

But this approach is time consuming – first you have to surf around looking for potential link partners, then you have to email them, then you have to confirm that they added your link and so on.

==> Writing Articles

This is the technique I use for increasing link popularity and it works very well.

Write short articles of 300 – 800 words and then submit them to the article announcement lists and the online article banks.

There are thousands of webmasters out there who need free content for their websites and you’ll soon find your articles appearing on dozens, even hundreds, of different websites.

At the bottom of your article is your Resource Box containing a link to your website. It might look something like this:

————————————————————————–
John Doe is the webmaster of yourdomain.com where he
offers cutting-edge tips on all aspects of web marketing.
To find more advice, tools and resources to help you
succeed in online business, visit: http://www.yourdomain.com
————————————————————————–

Most webmasters will make the URL in your Resource Box an active link. If they don’t, you should insist on it because it’s part of the deal – they get free content for their website and you get a free link.

This technique has two important advantages over other methods of raising link popularity:

(1) You don’t have to clutter up your website with reciprocal links

(2) You don’t have to invest huge amounts of time searching for link partners and then emailing them to request a link. If they like your article, they just add it to their website.

Happy writing!

Slack Economy Fuels eBay Shopping

by Jim Edwards

With the current economic outlook appearing fairly bleak for many individuals and businesses, most feel the need to make every dollar count.

But, no matter how bad the economy does or doesn’t get for every one of us, one fact remains a constant of human nature: People love a bargain!

This fact came home quite clearly to me last week when I used eBay to turn an expensive business purchase into an almost guilty buying pleasure.

I needed to purchase a very specialized piece of equipment for my home office called a “Mimio Board.” It converts a standard “white board” you draw on with erasable markers into a digital board you use with your PC. In short, everything you draw on the board shows up in the computer.

I really wanted this equipment, much like a 5-year old child really wants a new bike! Unfortunately, a new “Mimio Board” cost $400 minimum. But, unlike the 5-year old who stamps his foot and screams “no fair”, I did something about it. I went to eBay!

I did a quick search for “mimio” in hope of finding a used model at a reduced price. Much to my surprise I didn’t find a used one, but I did find a brand new one still in the box and available at over 75% off!

It seemed such a great deal that I actually felt a bit skeptical and thought I smelled a “scam.” But, like the 5- year old, I really wanted that bike, I mean “mimio board!”

So I enlisted the aid of a professional “eBay Power Buyer” with many years’ experience (my wife) to help me evaluate the deal and whether or not to go for it.

As a veteran of hundreds of successful transactions, she gave me this eBay buying advice, which I now pass to you, my new bargain hunting friend:

Check Feedback – Every seller receives public feedback from past buyers. Carefully check this feedback and pay special attention to any negative comments. Look for trends and volume of negative comments. You should avoid sellers with lots of negative feedback, especially recent bad behavior indicating a decline in service.

Check Descriptions – Carefully read the item description to make sure it’s exactly what you expect to receive. Look for any guarantees and always ask the seller questions before bidding. You can email the seller for a particular auction right from the item page.

Shipping Charges & Insurance – Before bidding, find out exactly how much it costs to ship an item to ensure the seller doesn’t inflate the shipping charges to add profit. Though you must pay for it, always insist on shipping insurance for one-of-a-kind, fragile or expensive items.

Payment – Make sure you know how the seller accepts payment and how it affects product delivery time. Some sellers won’t ship your product until after your check clears.

Overall, eBay makes a great place to find bargains for both home and business if you shop carefully and use common sense to avoid any obvious pitfalls.
